Happy Halloween!

It's All Hallows Eve today, and up here in the rainy Pacific Northwest, it's pouring. I predict the trick-or-treaters will get a bag full of water before they ever reach the first doorstep to collect candy, but that won't dampen their spirits.

I'm not a huge Halloween fan, but I did get more into the holiday mood while we were down in Disneyland a couple of weeks ago. One night we attended Mickey's Halloween Party. The kids dressed up in costume and they got to trick-or-treat inside the Magic Kingdom, which was decked out in all sorts of neat Halloween decor. It was good clean, not too spooky family fun and the kids loved it.

Tonight I'll leave a giant bowl of candy on the front porch while we take the weasels out trick-or-treating in a friend's neighborhood, then we attend a giant Halloween party complete with fireworks. What do you usually do for Halloween? Any neat traditions?
