Claimed By the Alpha on Barnes and Noble
As Alpha of the Alphas, it's Luka Stanislav's duty to hunt down and eliminate rogue werewolves that have been turned into zombies by an insidious virus. His task becomes infinitely more difficult when alluring Guild officer Marijka Zolinski arrives to investigate the death of her partner.
An irresistible wave of desire draws him to Marijka, and their overwhelming passion signals that Luka has found his true mate at last. But gypsy blood flows hot in her veins—and a bond between wolf and gypsy can never be. Still, after one night of ecstasy, Luka can't stop thinking of claiming Marijka as his own….
So this happened today. The first in my series with Nocturne Cravings is live and ready to go. I loved writing this book so much, it was one of my favorites. During edits, I stopped editing and had to go back and read again to see what happened to the characters even though I wrote it. It was magic like that.
When I was working on it, time slipped away and there was nothing but the screen in my head playing out the lives of these people. There was one scene where I was even crying while I typed. Yeah, don't tell anyone, you know how that steals my street cred.
I think the best books make you laugh, cry, throw things, and push you through the whole gamut of emotions. My favorite authors who do that are Gena Showalter and Kresley Cole. What about you? Who is your favorite go-to author where you know it's going to be a wild ride?
